With an eye to Shinchi’s future role in world competitions, municipal leaders asked Velosolutions, a Swiss company with a reputation for building professional pump tracks and mountain-bike trails, to design the track. Its three separate courses include one for kids and one with jumps, and the care-fully planned terrain offers something for all skill levels, novice to advanced. to Shinchi can enjoy, and the best place for it is the Shinchi Marine Fishing Park. A 75-meter deck extends partly into the bay, making it possible to fish at depths of 8 to 20 meters. Different species can be caught depending on the season—even flounder in the sum-mer months. Tenjinmisaki Sports ParkTenjinmisaki Sports Park in Naraha has two tent campsites in addition to rental cottages, a lodge, and a hotel. It is an official cycling termi-nal, with a restaurant and facilities for barbecuing, too.Shinchi Marine Fishing ParkThe town of Shinchi has a deck built expressly for sea fishing. Reservations are required, but walk-ins are welcomed when slots are open. Rods are available for rent.
